Brief Description of the Course:
This course introduces students to literary analysis and discussion by leading them trough the process of acquiring and mastering literary terms and concepts relevant to the three major forms of literature: Poetry, Drama, and Fiction. It provides students too with samples from British and American literature to be studied and analysed in due form, namely; seventeenth and eighteenth century British and American literature.
Audience:
The course is addressed to third year students at ENSB.
Global Objective:
The ultimate objective of the course is to acquaint students with techniques and approaches of literary analysis, familiarize them with the target language literary texts to develop their cultural awareness and their intercultural competence leading to a better performance.
